Intensive Outpatient Program for Eating Disorders
At Eden we understand that eating disorders are complicated and require expert care by a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is specifically designed to provide specialized and individualized treatment to people who struggle with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Treatment takes place in our conveniently located Las Vegas offices and offers programming for adult women who have eating disorder diagnoses.
Eden’s EDIOP operates five days per week and offers up to fifteen hours of group programming per week. Clients in our intensive outpatient program attend at least three days and up two five days a week and may attend either morning or afternoon sessions.
Each session includes a supervised meal and snack and additional supportive meal planning to help clients navigate the hours away from programming. One individual therapy session, and one session with a Registered Dietician are included in the program. Family therapy sessions once a week are included whenever appropriate. In addition to supported meals, IOP clients attend two groups per day. Group sessions include Process Group, DBT, Trauma-informed yoga, Hypnotherapy, Body Acceptance and Relapse Prevention, and are facilitated by licensed professionals.
To enroll in the program clients must be assessed by a physician and deemed to be medically stable. Additionally, all clients attending the program must be evaluated by a psychiatrist to confirm that they are appropriate for this level of care.
