Jennifer Reeder has over a decade of experience in the eating disorder treatment field. Beginning in 2007 on an inpatient unit providing direct client care, she has since had the opportunity to develop expertise ranging from admissions to outreach, operations, and business development.
Prior to joining Eden, Jen served as a part of Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders’ leadership team. During her time with Rosewood, she discovered her passion for operations and organizational processes, and how they can affect the quality of client care. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive space for clients to find healing, and believes in a culture that encourages education, internal growth, and dedication.

Jen is an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp), having held numerous roles on California’s Central Coast Chapter. As an advocate for eating disorder education, awareness, and prevention, Jen has participated in efforts to facilitate policy change, lobbying before congress for insurance reform.

Jen’s dedication to the field of eating disorder treatment is rooted in her own journey toward recovery from an eating disorder. She has co-presented nationally on the impact of approaching clients from a place of compassion, curiosity, and connection, drawing on her experience as both a professional in the field and as an eating disorder survivor. Jen believes in treating clients with respect, understanding, and compassion, and that it is possible for everyone who struggles with an eating disorder to find the peace that comes with recovery.
