Before arriving at Eden, Alex had been working with adolescents and adults specifically related to the treatment of eating disorders in other residential and non-residential settings for four years. She is a CPC-I and serves as an individual and group therapist at Eden's Outpatient Program. How we construct meaning from the world around us impacts our values, beliefs, and thus, our actions. In Alex’s work with clients, she strives to be collaborative by operating from a non-judgmental stance and client-centered approach. Alex believes that through self-exploration and the development of adaptive coping skills, we can assist individuals in leading more fulfilling lives. The earlier we develop our sense of self and self-acceptance, the more equipped we are to cope with future obstacles throughout life. Alex received a BA in Psychology from the University of San Diego and an MA in Counseling from Boston College.
